6 Months Old!!

This little man turned 6 months old yesterday! Isn't he the cutest?!

This guy again?!

Please excuse the overload of pictures on this post but I just can't get enough of this guy!

Siah started sitting more this past month. He still falls backwards occasionally but is getting stronger and stronger! 

He has also started "planking" all the time. He loves pushing himself up on his feet! He does 360 degree turns on his belly and pushes himself backwards across the room, often getting his legs and bottom stuck under a piece of furniture! He's not far away from crawling...which makes me a bit nervous!

Did I mention he is the most laid back, super easy, super happy baby every?!! The pictures above where he is smiling is because his sister was standing behind me talking to him. He LOVES his sisters. Sophi and Siah have a special bond as they both seem to be extraverts and love to be right in each others faces most of the time.

Maddie loves her baby brother...until he has something she wants or is taking too much of the baby role away from her! 

Most days she is pretty smitten by him though!

They also love dressing him up...poor guy!

 He has gone down to two naps a day and only nurses 4 times which is super nice for the rest of us as it gives us more of a set routine in our day and EVERYONE takes their afternoon nap/rest time at the same time! Hallelujah!!

He eats all three meals at the table with us and has started to eat some table food like peas, pieces of banana, puffs, blueberries cut in half. He is ALWAYS wanting to eat and whines constantly when at the table if he does not have something in his mouth so the table food helps give me a chance to eat my own food! Stinker! Sophi and I are trying to teach him to say more instead of whine...not working yet!

 He's still a momma's boy, which I LOVE! Seriously never knew how much I would love having a little boy! It's pretty amazing! He still says "mamma" occasionally, especially when he is crying! Melt my heart y'all!

Speaking of talking, this guy loves to talk! He yells and makes all kinds of noises right along side the rest of our crew!

 

He also still loves his toes! He puts them in his mouth all the time!

 

Siah we feel so blessed to have you in our lives. We can't wait to see all that God has in store for you. You bring us all so much joy little man. We love you to the moon and back!

Siah's 5 months

This little guys is 5 months old! 

Seriously, who are you bunny dude?!

Here are a few of the ways Siah has changed over the last month:

He is now sleeping unswaddled and HAS to have his lovie to play with as he goes to sleep as well as his trusted paci!

He can now sit on his own for extended periods of time which is cute to see. He can roll from his back to tummy and from his tummy to back. When on his tummy he pushes up to his knees almost and can turn circles. He often pushes himself backwards across the room.

He has started eating solids this past month and now eats with us at every meal. He LOVES to eat and has so far enjoyed rice, oatmeal, sweet potatoes, avacado, banana, green beans, carrots, pumpkin and apples. Sophi has enjoyed being able to feed him his meals which is super cute to watch.

He has discovered his feet and is often found chewing away at them!

He puts everything in his mouth and can pick up small toys by himself now which always go IN HIS MOUTH.

He is constantly drooling and if you give him your finger to chew on bites down HARD but no teeth yet (thank goodness!).

He has had a few more opportunities to ride on pops airplane and really enjoys it, usually screaming with joy the whole time!

He has now discovered how to jump in his activity gym and LOVES it! He especially likes jumping when someone is cheering him on. 

He is still super interactive and isn't shy about giving away his smiles! He will always cry if we leave him in a room by himself. He LOVES his sisters and talks and squeals at them all the time. Josh and I both think we hear him say "mama" every now and then, especially when he is crying. 

On that note he is still a mama's boy and I LOVE it! I just can't get enough of this little dude. He has a special place in my heart for sure!!

Siah we are so in love with you and so thankful God placed you in our lives. We can't wait to see all that God has in store for you in the coming months!

Siah is 4 months old!

I can't believe this guy is 4 months old! 

I always say it but where does the time go?!

 

We spent the month of May at the beach and this is what our little man did most of the time:

 

 Here are a few other things Siah started doing this past month:

He is MOVING! He rolls from his back to his front almost every time you put him down but gets frustrated really fast because he hasn't figured out how to roll back over! He has also found his feet and is constantly playing with them.

He also kicks his legs ALL THE TIME! I have a feeling once he is mobile he will never stop moving!

 

He is one happy baby! He smiles all the time and is quite the talker. He loves smiling, giggling and talking to his sisters. 

He and Sophi love being all up in each others faces, our two extraverts I do believe! They also look JUST alike at this age.

He always has his hands in his mouth or is grabbing something and putting it in his mouth and is constantly drooling.

He started sleeping unswaddled during his naps and no longer uses his sleep positioner at night for this very reason:

He's pretty proud of himself! 
He sleeps 12 hours at night and takes 3 naps a day.

We put him in his jumperoo for the first time and he loves it! He hasn't mastered "jumping" in it yet but really enjoys hanging out in there for a bit. He still LOVES to stand so this is the perfect place for him to be.

He also tried the swing for the first time...he wasn't too impressed.

Siah is quite the momma's boy which I am really enjoying. Cuddling this little guy is truly the best!

I mean how can you not love this sweet little face?!

 We are so thankful God brought this little guy into our lives and can't imagine our family without him. Looking forward to all that He has in store for our Siah.
