Sophi turned 5 months this past Thursday!
She has grown so much in the last month. Just within the past month we have removed her sleep positioner in her bed, stopped swaddling her at night and during nap time, and now have her sleeping in her crib during naps as opposed to her swing. We have also introduced a "lovey." She is becoming such a big girl!!
She has found her voice and really enjoys talking, particularly to her lovey during nap time. Sophi can now sit "independently" as our PA friend says which means she can sit up by herself as long as we are behind her to catch her if she starts falling to the side.
Her best friend right now is Shiloh. She LOVES everything Shiloh does, and loves to laugh at him! He somewhat enjoys playing with her but mostly just enjoys licking her spit up off her bibs, hands and mouth! Gross!
Sophi has also found her first boyfriend! One of our friends keeps Sophi for one hour on Tuesdays and Thursdays while Josh is still in class and I have to go to work. She also takes care of a one year old boy named Jonah. Jonah really likes Sophi and will pet her head and rock her in her car seat to show her his affection! SO CUTE! Already going for those older boys, huh Soph?!
Josh and I have been really busy this past month with work and school. But at the end of each day when we are hanging out with our precious girl we know life is soooo good.
