Sophi has a contagious smile and loves to laugh. We think God has filled this little one's heart with joy!
(I think she looks a lot like my dad in this picture, as Josh says, "That's a David Scobey face!)
Sophi will be taking her first plan ride in a little over a week as we travel to Atlanta for Thanksgiving. Please keep us in your prayers as we travel across the country with our little one. If you have any advice for plane travel with a two month old please let me know!!
We pray that everyone has a safe and happy Thanksgiving. Enjoy your time with family and friends.

Lauren - love the pictures of Sophi she is changing so fast right now! You are looking great too! Such a sweet Mommy!
she is precious! here's my travel advice:
* put her in a front carrier/sling while at the airport so that your hands can be free to carry bags, tickets, misc. things
* both of our boys had major blowouts every time they flew. so we learned to put them in diapers that were one size up so that there was extra room for poo...it's better to be safe than have yellow poop spray on your neighbor (yes, it really happened!)
* the people on the plane are going to love her!
Hi Lauren, Caleb was a great sleeper when he was that age so we would put a blanket on the floor under the seat in front of me and let him sleep on the floor. It was wonderful since it freed up my hands to enjoy the flight. I realize some might think it is not safe so do what you feel is best but it worked like a charm for us ... he slept for 2 hours straight on most flights :) Sophi sounds like she'll do great no matter what!
Sweet girl! Her pose in the first picture is so prim & proper!
YAY for thanksgiving in Atlanta! can't wait ;-)
