Two weekends ago Josh and I got to go back to Nashville (Columbia really) and visit his parents. It was soooo nice! We had so much fun catching up with his folks, seeing his brother, sister-in-law and our niece and nephew! We ate lots of things I had been craving....such as Chick-fil-A and Cracker Barrel! When we got to the airport to come back to LA on Sunday we were both really sad. We miss the south, we miss being close to our family, and we are both ready to come back home! We definitely feel we are where God wants us to be right now, but our hope is that we will get the opportunity to move back to the south (hopefully Nashville!) by the end of next year!
This past weekend we made our first big purchase for the baby...we bought a crib! What a neat experience. It was so fun to see Josh get so excited about it, getting caught up in the nesting with me! We can't wait to set it up here at the house...hopefully in a couple of weeks.
(picture from the website)Finally, we are starting to feel the baby kick! I have been able to feel him move for a few weeks now but just the flutters. Now Josh can even feel him kick. What an amazing, awesome moment to feel our little one telling us he is there!
(19.5 weeks)We will find out if it's a boy or girl on May 8! We can't wait!!! Stay posted for the big announcement.
