8 Month Siah

Our sweet little boy turned 8 months old today! Seriously, isn't he sooo cute?!

Two really big changes that have happened this past month: 

teeth!! 

He now has four and is acting like he is getting more!

I love seeing that toothy smile! He also loves making these funny faces while squealing very loudly! 

He is going to make sure his sisters don't take all the attention from him!

The other super big change is CRAWLING! He is crawling all over the place.

 He can get wherever he wants to go, is trying to pull up on everything and is trying to learn how to climb the stairs. He loves discovering his new world and adores doors, opening and closing them as well as opening drawers and pulling everything out of them! Stinker!!

He also loves pushing up like this to his feet. He really wants to walk just hasn't quiet put it all together yet! It's not to far off though I'm pretty sure!

He puts EVERYTHING in his mouth! 

And he LOVES to eat.

He eats three meals a day, two snacks and only nurses twice a day. He drinks from a sippy cup and is learning to drink from a straw!  Heaven help us when this little boy becomes a teenager...he may eat us out of house and home!

While his hair is growing in more it's still pretty fuzzy. 

We are enjoying his mohawk look right now!

His sisters still love him, especially Sophi! She really enjoys dressing him up!

Poor guy!

He is still a super happy baby, smiling and laughing most of the time. 

He has started taking only one big 2 hour nap a day and the other nap is a short hour one which sometimes leaves him grumpy around dinner time...until he gets to the table and starts eating. Then life is good!

He flew on Pops airplane again this month to go visit his new cousin Webb. 

He and cousin Evie got to spend some sweet time together, giving her a taste of what it will be like to be a big sister soon!

 

He babbles a lot which is so cute to hear! He says "Mama"  for me and for "more" at the table. He says "BaBa" and "DaDa" too! He really likes to talk to his sisters!

 He, like his sister Maddie at this age, has discovered how to throw his paci out of the crib so we have to put 4 or 5 in with him so he will end up with one still in the bed when he finally decides to go to sleep!

 He has started having separation anxiety when being dropped off at church or when I leave him with anyone else. He is still a momma's boy and can turn on the drama when momma is around! I'm still pretty ok with it though! I am so in love with this little guy!

Sweet Siah, we are loving watching you grow. We are so thankful that God has allowed us to share life with you! We can't wait to see all that he has in store for you in the coming month! 

Siah is 7 month's old!!

I can't believe this little guy is already 7 months old!!

He's becoming such a big boy!!

 He's started making this funny face all the time. It's super cute and he thinks its histerical!

 He was all about eating the bunny this time!

This past month has continued to bring with it more and more changes for this little guy! One of the biggest is teeth! 

One started popping through his gum just a few days after 6 months. He know has two showing through! Speaking of teeth he LOVES to eat and its whatever we are eating. He really enjoys spagetti, yogurt, crackers, cheese, and any kind of fruit.

He sits on his own now and can get onto his knees from sitting and almost get back to sitting from his tummy. He is rocking away on his knees and snakes across a room to get what he wants. He is soooo close to crawling!! He also loves to walk holding onto your hands!

His favorite time of the day besides eating is bath time. He can not get enough of being in the bath and loves to play in the water with his sisters. He usually gets pretty mad when its time to get out of the bath...kinda like he gets mad when you tell him dinner's over ;)

He loves his sisters and they really love him. Sophi is such a big help! She can dress and undress him, keep him entertained and loves to hold him most of all! 

Maddie enjoys holding him on occasion although the gap in their size difference is quickly closing. 

It's such a blessing for me to watch them all play together and love on each other. 

He only nurses three times a day these days and takes two naps a day...when he can get them. With school starting back he is often in the car during his nap time so those can be hit or miss. He still sleeps 12 hours at night.

While teething has made him a little bit more fussy he is still a pretty easy going, lay back, sweet sweet boy. He has gone on many a shopping trip with mommy, his favorite place to be is still in the ergo as apposed to a stroller.

He had his first over night stay at Grammy's this past month. He love it, slept great, ate well,  enjoyed the one on one attention AND really enjoyed playing with their dog Molly. 

He has really found his voice this days and loves to talk and squeal! He squeals the most when he is at the table or in the bath (like I said, his two favorite places to be!).

Siah we feel so blessed to have been chosen as your family! We are thankful for the way you make us all laugh and smile and the joy you bring to each of our lives. We look forward to watching the way God grows you over this next month!
